Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
Another important factor in creating a sustainable community here in Orange County is to protect our landfills. The Orange County Recycling Co-op also features a Re-Sale Store, where servicable items can be put to good use. Located at the Old Mill, 105 E Water Street, the recycling center is just a few blocks from Lost River Market & Deli, so you can drop off your recyclables and donations when you shop!
Orange County Community Foundation
The Orange County Community Foundation is passionate about Orange County and the people here. The OCCF believes that everyone should have the same opportunity to help build and improve our home county--all it takes is a little time, talent, treasure, and love! In addition to helping to make our own co-op a reality, the OCCF has contributed to numerous programs, grants, and special events aimed at improving the quality of life right here in souther Indiana. If you are interested in contributing to your community, this is the place to start!
